PRINCIPALS REPORT 

As Term 3 draws to a close, I want to thank our students, staff and families for the way you have worked together across what has been a busy and important term at Greenvale Secondary College.

Since commencing at the College, our focus has been clear: to support a calm, orderly and inclusive learning environment where every student is known, feels they belong and is supported to achieve their best.

Across the term, we have strengthened our focus on classroom routines, attendance, behaviour expectations and protecting instructional time. I have been encouraged by the progress we are seeing, particularly in more students being in class, ready to learn and engaging positively with their teachers and peers.

Importantly, this work has been about creating greater clarity and consistency around the things that matter most high expectations, respectful relationships and a school environment where students and staff can be successful.

I have also greatly valued the opportunity to listen to our community. Through conversations with students, staff and families, including our recent feedback forums, we are continuing to build a clearer picture of what our community values about Greenvale and where we can continue to improve.

Our College values of Excellence, Leadership, Respect and Teamwork remain central to this work. These values are not simply words; they should be visible in the way we learn, work together and contribute to our community each day.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities before us. My vision for Greenvale is to continue building a high-performing, inclusive school where every student is challenged and supported to achieve excellence, and where strong partnerships with families and our wider community create even more opportunities for young people to succeed.

Thank you to our staff for their commitment and professionalism throughout the term, to our families for their continued support and partnership, and most importantly to our students for the energy, character and contribution they bring to our College every day.

I wish all members of our Greenvale Secondary College community a safe, restful and enjoyable September break. I look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 4 as we continue to Dream. Believe. Achieve.
